“Our place is one street back from the water and the last repaint was peeling within two summers. Dave tested the walls, explained which system each side of the house needed and gave us one fixed price. Two years on it still looks like the day they left.”

“Three quotes, and Primeline was the only one that itemised the prep instead of burying it. It was not the cheapest number but it was the only one I could actually understand. No surprises, price never moved.”

“Kayla walked us through the colours and had samples up on the wall before we committed. The interior came up beautifully and there was barely any smell, we were back in the rooms the same evening.”

“The roof looked past it and we were bracing for a replacement quote. They cleaned it, re-bedded the ridge caps and coated it, and it looks brand new for a fraction of what a new roof would have cost.”

“We manage a 24-unit block and Primeline presented the full scope at our committee meeting before we signed anything. Staged so residents were never boxed in, all the safety paperwork up front. Easiest trade decision the committee has made.”

“Our deck had gone grey and splintery. They sanded it right back, told us honestly how often it would need a maintenance coat on our exposed spot, and finished it in something that has actually lasted through summer.”

“The render had hairline cracks all along the front. Dave explained the difference between the fine cracks a membrane fixes and the structural ones it does not, checked ours properly, then coated it. Honest and thorough.”

“Same painter every day, turned up when they said, cleaned up every afternoon. After some of the crews we have had over the years, that alone was worth it. The finish is excellent too.”

“Whole house inside and out after we bought. They coordinated the colours across every room so it flows, and the exterior has the coastal system on it. The written warranty gave us real peace of mind as new owners.”

“I asked a lot of questions about products and coats and never once got a vague answer. Everything was named on the quote, and the job matched the quote exactly. That is rarer than it should be.”

How it runs

What happens next, step by step.

1

On-site assessment

We walk every elevation, test the surfaces and talk through colours and finish, then send a fixed price in writing within one business day.

2

Prep and protect

Furniture, floors and gardens covered, then surfaces washed, scraped, sanded and primed back to a sound substrate.

3

Coastal-grade system on

Named primer and two topcoats matched to each surface exposure, applied to the rated thickness and wet-film checked as we go.

4

Walk-around and warranty

We walk every room or elevation with you, fix anything you flag on the spot, then hand over the ten-year warranty in writing.

Why us

The quote is the job, line by line.

What our itemised quote locks in, and the shortcuts a cheap operator takes.

The itemised quote
  1. 1Substrate and exposure check. Before any price, we test each surface for salt, chalking and moisture and note its exposure, full sun, sea facing or sheltered. The coast has already done things to your walls, and the quote has to account for them.
  2. 2Prep back to sound substrate.Wash down, scrape, sand and spot-prime every surface back to sound. This is the line most cheap quotes skip, and it is where a coastal repaint is won or lost.
  3. 3Salt and UV rated system, named.Primer and topcoats matched to each surface, by name and by number of coats. You see exactly which system goes where before we start.
  4. 4Two topcoats, wet-film checked. Two full topcoats applied to the rated thickness and wet-film checked as we go, then a walk-around with you before we call it finished.
If a quote doesn't show these lines, you can't compare it, and you don't know what's been cut.

What you get from us

  • A written scope with named products and the number of coats
  • Prep priced as its own line you can see
  • The same painter on your job from start to finish
  • A fixed price that does not move once prep starts
  • Ten years in writing, and honoured in writing

Cowboy tells

  • A one-line quote with no product or coats named
  • Prep waved away, then charged as an extra
  • A different backpacker crew every day
  • A cheap number that climbs once the wall is open
  • A verbal promise you can never actually call in
Before you call anyone

Work out the scope, then see the range.

Two free tools. Both run in your browser, store nothing, and end in an on-site walkthrough. Neither is a quote.

Guarantee in writing

The cover that backs the work, named up front.

Layer 01

Coastal-grade workmanship

Ten years in writing on our prep and application. If it blisters, peels or chalks from our work, we come back and make it right.

Layer 02

Manufacturer system

Because we apply accredited systems to spec, the paint manufacturer warranty stands behind the product as well.

Layer 03

Statutory (ACL)

Services rendered with due care and skill for a reasonable period under Australian Consumer Law. Always applies.

Watch this before you book

The questions every customer asks, answered once.

What makes a coastal-grade repaint different?
On the Gold Coast, salt air and hard UV strip a standard repaint within a couple of summers. We test each surface for exposure, prep back to sound substrate, and apply a named salt and UV rated system, then back it in writing for ten years.
How much does a repaint cost?
It depends on exposure, condition, size and access. Our cost guide gives honest ranges, and every quote is fixed in writing so the price does not move once prep starts.
Is the prep included in the price?
Always, and it is itemised as its own line so you can see it. Prep is where a coastal repaint is won or lost, so we never hide it to win on price.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold a QBCC licence and carry $20M public liability, and both numbers go on your quote.
How long does a quote take?
We assess on site and send a fixed price in writing within one business day.
Do you do commercial and strata work?
Yes. We repaint strata, body corporate and commercial buildings across the Gold Coast, with staged schedules and full safety documentation.
